Cheryl Capezzuti is a sculptor, painter and puppetmaker whose work is inseparable from the communities in which she creates. The over-arching goals of her work are to encourage the people she meets everyday to ponder daily tasks often taken for granted, converse about the place of art in contemporary society, collaborate in a creative process and find delight in the effort. She lives and works in Pittsburgh, PA.
